One of my favorite things to do during this time of year is to try new recipes or Halloween themed foods. I'm not an amazing cook, or a very decorative one, but I have fun either way :) Here are a few things we've enjoyed
Deviled 'eye' eggs
Yummy Mummy pizzas and mashed potato ghosts
Skeleton and ghosty cupcakes
The frosting kind of melted which made them look like this, but I think it added a creepy charm to it :)
We've also enjoyed pumpkin Alfredo pasta, pumpkin parfaits (not very good, I added too much spice), and baked apples stuffed with snickers and covered in pie crust. I look forward to trying more pumpkin recipes. Steven's a trooper for putting up with my experiments!
