Life with Leo

and other fun things :)
He's been very smiley this week and so much fun :)

This is the first outfit we bought before we knew if we would have a boy or girl, I've been waiting for it to finally fit! So of course I took a million photos.

Other outfits I've been waiting for are suddenly either fitting or already too tight, and they are six month clothes!

He was calm enough and the angle was just right that he held his bottle! No prop, he just held it.

Also, he's getting closer to rolling over.

And also, in the top photos he started out with his feet pointing to the left. Somehow he did a 180 to look at something on the table.
I don't know if I'm ready for how close he is to being moble...

       Sleep is always an adventure

I love how much Leo lights up when his dad is around. He loves to touch Steven's beard.

                 Laundromat fun

                  Antelope Island

                  That's enough :)

Antelope Island Adventure

The Christensen's and Jackson's invited us on an adventure to Antelope Island!
Our drive past the Misty Mountains

                 Great views

Leo is not a fan of the wind, or being in his carrier for too long. But the bottle helped :)

                  I spy a Steven

Leo was excited to stretch his legs once we got back to the car.
We spotted bison, birds, and a burrowing owl!
It was an exciting, last minute adventure to end an otherwise very quiet Saturday.

Life with Leo

...and other fun things

Sitting with dad at church in his dapper penguin shirt from Aunty Cicily.

On Monday Leo attended his first Grizzlies game! He loved it. The ice and moving players had him mesmerized..for about half an hour, then he slept through the last hour and a half. When the grizzlies score they blow a loud train whistle a million times, Leo did not like waking up to that. He may develop a phobia of train whistles... But he quickly fell back asleep.
I haven't been to a hockey game in a while, it was a lot of fun :)

This boy loves his dad

At the hockey game our section won free burgers from In-and-Out. So that was our dinner, and Steven's first experience there (my second). It wasn't bad, especially since part of it was free :)

  Always blowing bubbles

After having dad home all weekend plus Monday, Leo was distressed Tuesday morning to discover he was stuck with only mom again.

Always something in the mouth; usually his fingers or mine.

     Happy at dad's soccer game

Still can't get enough of this face

    He wants the big bottle

He doesn't like being changed when he's tired. Maybe I'm heartless, but I still think his cry face is adorable and funny.
On Saturday, for work, Steven was invited to go to the UVU hanger at the Provo airport and go up in a small plane. Leo and I waited in the airport. The whole event took a lot longer than we both realized, but my cousin, Preston, works there and let Leo and I sit in one of the planes :)

Leo loved it! So many fun looking buttons, and a control stick to slobber on.
Thanks 'daddy Preston!'

My reward for waiting so patiently :)

The small plane Steven was in
My attractive co-pilot! They let him take the controls for a short moment!

What a view. Such a neat experience!

That was our week :)
