It's a......

Boy!!!!!!!!
My brother Jameson and his wife, Katie, found out on Thursday and were kind
enough to wait to tell everyone until we got into town Friday.  I'm so glad they did :)
We all made our guesses,

 we were given our clues,
 that led to this!
Which fell and lead to this:
 When we found out that...
...there would finally be a grandson for the Jackson side of the family :)
It was a super cute way to tell everyone.
We would've been equally excited if they were having a girl, but we are happy that there will now be a baby boy to love on.

I spoke too soon

Knew it would come eventually

Winter?

Like most of the state we haven't had much of a winter here.
We're really enjoying the warm weather, but we kinda miss the snow.
There have been a few little storms, and there is a bit of lingering
snow.  It makes the valley really pretty, especially in the mornings.
If it does decide to snow anytime soon it will probably last well in to June,
that's just how it works down here :)

Ode to Boy

That's right, I get to gush a bit more about how proud I am of this guy :)
Especially lately.

That sign he is standing in front of is one he and another intern designed for a local elementary school.  He is in his final undergrad semester at SUU; and while he is only taking two classes, this is one of his busiest and most involved semesters.
He is doing an internship for the school district where he and another intern are in charge of the districts Public Relations.  He is a marketing coordinator for the university student association, he is very involved in his classes, he is also involved in the PR club, and the Communications Honors Society.  I know this sounds like a resume, but I'm most proud of the fact that all these positions were ones that people approached him about, or sought him out for.
He has meetings all the time, plus he works part-time. And on top of it all he has to put up with me 24/7! (I think he deserves a medal just for that :)
I'm very proud of his talents and skills, and grateful for these opportunities to improve them and learn more.  Steven works so hard and I just felt like giving him a little recognition and letting him know how proud I am of him (even if he might not appreciate it being so advertised :)

Happy Happy Birthday Debbie Dear!

Many, many, many, moons ago, we won't say how many, but
many (ok not that many:),
this wonderful woman was born in Reading, Berkshire England.
She eventually came to the states and married this guy:
and later had these guys,

and a dog.

She's traveled and had many adventures, and will continue
to have many more

She is the most kind, selfless, caring, fun person I know.
Everyone loves to talk to her, and she listens well.
Kids can't get enough of her; she can get any baby to sleep.
She's pretty much the most amazing mom ever.
I love her very much, but I'm by far not the only one.
And today is her birthday!
Happy Birthday Mummy!
