I'm sure this won't be the last thankful post about my hubby. What can I say? I'm pretty fond of the guy :) Today I'm very grateful that he is so willing to just go with whatever I might have in mind for dinner, even if I have nothing in mind. Granted, I've learned to stay away from squash and a few other things he's not too fond of; but even when I just have to make something that he may not like, he'll quietly suffer through it (usually with a forced smile). Lately I've kinda been out of ideas as to what to make, or I just haven't felt like making a big meal. I'm grateful my Hubby has been perfectly happy with soup and salad, or sandwiches, or cheese and tortillas :) I know, I must be slipping in my wifey duties, but he doesn't seem to mind! (yet)
Alycia, you should try out deals to meals. They help you save money each month by price matching but also give a recipe for each day. all the ones I have tried have turned out great. her blog is dealstomeals.blogspot.com. It will help you with food storage, her website is dealstomeals.com. she charges 4.95 a month but is worth it with the amount you save. she will also give you a free trial to try it out. good luck, it is definitely something I have struggled with my whole married life.
