In May...

My brother and his wifey invited us to Katie's family cabin by Kanab. Unfortunately some of the pictures I liked aren't on my phone anymore, but I'll post what I have :)
We did a few nifty slot canyon hikes.

                  Pioneer graffiti

          Messing around in Kanab.

We had a blast! Their cabin is in such a beautiful area. We rode atvs, had a bonfire complete with s'mores and Bigfoot stories, and we stayed up until like 2am completing a puzzle. Thanks Jacksons!

While we are going back in time I might as well post my cabin Easter pictures that I haven't yet deleted:

           Happy belated Easter! :)

Other Happenings

     Two separate rainbow encounters.

                     YM/YW hike

Had to renew my license, now I look like a confused, rabid murderer.

Fart smog! The wind blew in this nasty apocalyptic haze that smelled really bad.

               Adorable little man

             Grammy's make-up.

           Tractor with Poppy

And a trip to Cabelas to eat bison.

Back down to Southern Utah

Over Labor Day weekend we got to go to our beloved southern utah :)

Yep, that's a coffin, I mean a fiat. We drove down with steven's parents to Hurricane and rented the fiat to get to Cedar City.
No leg room! The front is roomy but every time I saw the back seat I laughed. But it got us to Cedar to visit our awesome friends who we miss. Not a bad little wind-up car.
Salted caramel cream smoothie, mmmm

We stayed with the ever hospitable Rae and Duane who were so sweet to let us intrude for the weekend.

We watched a lot of cool thunderstorms from their balcony.

Took a walk, and found the Y ball (ahem*they could've used a few during Saturdays game...)
          Explored Zion in the rain

It was a fun weekend, and we are grateful to Steven's parents who put up with us and made it possible!

Hill Air Force base

A little bit ago we went with the Jackson's and Christensen's on a jaunt up to Hill afb. It's awesome and free!

This is a B-17, the plane that my grandpa flew in as a waste-gunner during ww2.
I haven't been here since I was a kid, it was neat to see again :)

Muse

Steven finally got to enjoy his birthday present from April; we finally got to see Muse in concert!

I'd love to claim this as our view, but the above pictures were taken by Steven's brother Danny, the spoiled knacker :)
Our view was still pretty awesome though :)

                    Selfie attempts
This was the most decent, I think...
The concert was incredible. They are a very talented group and we really enjoyed it! Their songs will be stuck in my head for the rest of the year.
