We had a fantastic Christmas, but of course it was extra special because it was Leo's first Christmas.
Leo's first time downtown to see the Temple Square lights, which he mostly slept through but still enjoyed. We got cheesesteak sandwiches (with fries), and sushi for dinner. Interesting, but delicious, combination.
We enjoyed one of my young women's dance performances, amazing trees and gingerbread houses, and good conversation at The Festival of Trees.
The penguins had stockings!
First sleepy aquarium trip
Leo's favorite spot is up on dad's shoulder. Especially in his big bear coat :)

At the beginning of December my friends and I got together for our girls' night gift exchange.
Cicily looves the trifle (who doesn't?? Steven.... :)
We went with a British food theme, it was so good. The whole night was a success :)
Our little Christmas baby. I loved putting him in his Christmas outfits and jammies. And, I love that cry face!
Leo loves his daddy, especially when Dad reads to him. I love my boys :)
Jameson, Katie, and Packer were in Wyoming for Christmas so the Sunday before we had a feast and opened a few gifts while they were here. Nanny and Poppa joined us as well. So much delicious food!
Christmas baby, Christmas Eve rest and Christmas Eve breakfast.
Christmas Eve at the Powell residence.
The morning was spent wrapping gifts and watching Christmas movies, it was so relaxing and nice!
We had a delicious feast and opened presents.
Steven mod podged this box for our sister-in-law and I thought it was the neatest idea. He did an awesome job :)
This cute baby was supposed to be napping but was giving us the cutest giant grins instead :)
Christmas morning! I love Steven's 'fancy' writing, and on Christmas gifts it just looks extra Christmassy :)
This one was my favorite. We didn't get Leo much, he was only two months old, but I loved having a gift under the tree for him. It made me happy every time I saw it.
Plus, we got to have him 'open' it :) he also helped mom and dad open gifts. Just having Leo there made it one of my favorite Christmas mornings.

Then we had more gifts, Christmas breakfast, and the Chitty Christmas at my parents.
I love this blurry photo. During most family gatherings somewhere a handful of people will squish into a small place, usually the kitchen, and chat for a while.
Our feast and the kids patiently waiting for gifts from Nanny and Poppa.
Grand parents and great grand parents.
Our only Christmas family photo :)
I think Leo's first Christmas was perfect :)
