Christmas Day is over :(
I feel like the season went by a lot faster than it usually does.
We got to do a lot of great Christmas things, and had some really great experiences. I do wish we'd had more time to enjoy the season. We kept things fairly simple and relaxed this year, except it did get a little crazy toward the end. I don't think there was much more we could've done to feel more 'Christmassy,' it just seems like time is moving so very fast. I thought that wasn't supposed to happen until you had kids?
Despite the time, we've still had a great Christmas.
I love that it was on Sunday this year. I think it just helps keep in perspective what Christmas should be all about. Going to church on Christmas shouldn't feel like an inconvenience, because what better way is there to remember our Savior's birth, life, and teachings than to meet in His house and worship and remember Him? So even though I hadn't quite got ready for the day, I'm glad we went to Sacrament meeting.
We've been spiritually fed, spoiled, and stuffed full of food; I think it's time for a nice long coma nap :)
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
