Day 2
Steven had to get up for conference sessions, half asleep me would always look up and see this :) I think a favorite for him was staring out our window at the city and the bay.
But when you see stuff like this, I can see why :)
While he was in sessions, I mostly walked around the gas lamp quarter and the mall. I may also have spent collectively about 3 hours in a store called Charming Charlie's, and only bought three things :)
Lunch break!
This giant statue/memorial is by the USS Midway. I like it :) There's also a Bob Hope memorial for his work with the troops.
Then we headed to Old Town! Most of the museums were closed but the fun shops were still open.
That scale shows me weighing 0 lbs! A girl can pretend, right? :)
Casa De Reyes, an awesome outdoor Mexican restaurant. Great atmosphere and food!
Drivin' California! We drove over to Coronado to see the city at night :)
Day 3
Awesome helicopter behind me. This day I mostly walked around seaport village and sat by the pool waiting for Steven. I also took a random trip to trader joe's.
Fun Alycia fact; This spot 7 years ago is where I sang with the high school choir on tour. Now you know.
Sushi Deli. So good. We are still thrilled with how much superb food we got for such a great price.
I love cheap, quality sushi :)
We had the pleasure of going to our first Major League Baseball game. San Diego Padres vs Colorado Rockies.
Padres won :)
If you look close you can see the ball.
The sunset during the game was beautiful in the city. It was a fun few days, lots of good walking :)

Good work, after my helpful comment about DOING SOME UPDATING!
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I would say 'I love cheap sushi'. You may want to add something about quality in there . . .
