Life with Leo

Last week

He was so adorable and so happy on Sunday.

So many St. Patrick's Day outfits, of course! :)

He is getting really good at sitting up by himself. He still tries to catapult backwards, and there have been a few face plants, but he's getting there :) Also, this was his first time on grass, he liked it for the first five minutes, then he wasn't so sure.

                             :D

Visiting great aunty Dee with Grammy
(It's weird referring to these two as 'great aunt' and 'Grammy' instead of just 'aunty' and 'mom'..)

We went to the mall and discovered this nifty Lego display. Many of the nation's monuments made out of Legos! It was pretty impressive. The Lincoln memorial had a tiny Lincoln inside!

Leo with a natural 'Phantom of the Opera' mask :)

I had to break it to Steven that his son got eaten by a gigantic prehistoric shark...

               More aquarium fun

Steven is a few hairs lighter now, but Leo enjoyed it :)

Clockwise: First time in the stroller without the car seat (loved it); just gnawing on the pillow; just gnawing on the bottom of the play yard, and patiently waiting for a clean diaper.

One of my favorite onsies for him (that is sadly getting too small), and his Puritan pose.

One of my fantastic young women was Leo's first non-family babysitter while Steven and I had a nice temple date.
It's weird being on the employing end of babysitting and not being the one doing the babysitting.

Sometimes feeding this boy is an adventure. His hand is either constantly moving/grabbing/scratching, or it's resting on my face in a shushing way. Or he is hangry and has to tell me how mad he is before finally settling down to eat.
But lately he has actually cuddled! And I kind of love it (while hoping that it's not for reasons of becoming ill).

He likes being a big boy and sitting in the front by Dad. Gosh he's so cute :)
