Trying to purge my phone, so still catching up :)
New Year's Eve we went to zoo lights with my parents and the girls.
We also visited the Powell's, and watched the Oblads play the bag game. And we recorded Cicily's New Years kiss.
We had a blast at a winter camp out in Heber with the youth.
They spent a good hour trying to smash a rock through the ice. The frozen over ice fishing holes were nifty too.
Powell cabin. Other than a rocky start (just us with a broken-snowed in-out of gas snowmobile, plus water issues) it was the perfect winter getaway. We finally snowboarded for the first time in about three years. Steven tried out his dad's cross country skis from the '60's.
We also took a trip to the Timpanogos temple, which we haven't been to since we were married there 4 1/2 years ago. I love it.
For Cloie's birthday we went ice skating (also not done in years).
McKell had to be bribed with chocolate to be on the ice with the walker, she just wanted Parker to carry her and 'go fast!'
Parker played hockey in high school and we all kind of forgot how gracefully that big tree can skate :)
Parker and Beth revealed with pink balloons that they will be having a boy.
The Natural History Museum had an awesome chocolate exhibit. We got to try some pure chocolate and cacao beans.
That's why I went too :)
Flying kites, a sweet note from Hadley, and McKell on the 'ahee.'
We finally got to try Five Alls! I've wanted to go here since Jr. High and finally made it happen. Five courses of deliciousness!
And that's what we've been up to so far this year :)
